Create the perfect accessory for summer by making yourself a pair of custom Espadrilles!
Whether you are interested in creating your own DIY version of the famous Chanel espadrille or inspired by nautical or floral motifs students will have the opportunity to create a custom pair to suit their own personal style.
Espadrilles are a great introduction to shoemaking where no previous shoemaking or sewing experience is required. Students will sew their fabric upper patterns together with a few simple seams on the sewing machine and then learn the traditional hand stitching techniques of assembling the upper of the shoe to the jute outsole.
