Sandal Making is a great introduction to shoemaking! With only a few simple tools and materials you are able to make a wearable pair of sandals in just 1 Day!
Throughout this workshop, students will be introduced to basic shoemaking techniques and will have the opportunity to custom design their own pair sandals from scratch. Starting with their initial concept, students will select suitable materials and embellishments for their design and then cut, sew and assemble each component together and by the end of the workshop each student will have the opportunity to walk out the door wearing their own work!
What is included:
- Upper leather and textiles for your design
- Leather or rubber outsole material
- Essential shoemaking components
- Hardware and trims to use as embellishments
- Shoemaking tools for you to utilize during the workshop
